Pachia Lucy Vang is a Hmong textile researcher and maker with a background in community organizing, curation, and design. She received her Bachelor’s of Art in Anthropology from UC Berkeley and is a current MFA Design student at UC Davis, where she is expanding her practice in Textiles and Exhibitions to create a community-centered space for Hmong arts. She owns and operates Culture through Cloth, an online platform and business dedicated to preserving and promoting the ancient Hmong craft of paj ntaub or “flower cloth.”
