Free Entry – IMD 2023!

Happy International Museum Day! To celebrate, entry to TAEC will be FREE for all visitors on 18 May from 9am – 6pm.

Museums are sometimes thought of as dead spaces, dusty repositories of obsolete artefacts and obscure history. Well, TAEC is far from that. We represent living cultures; communities and traditions which exist today in Laos and are constantly in flux. We take this obligation seriously, which is why we bring local community members in to our Centre as often as possible to both contribute to our exhibits and comment on them.
