Celebrating Women’s Day | Free Entry for Women! 

In honour of International Women’s Day, TAEC is celebrating women around the world by offering free entry on Sunday, 8 March 2020!

Visit the Centre and explore the lifestyles and traditions of Laos’ ethnic communities. Learn through their personal stories and multimedia, clothing, musical instruments, household objects, and religious artefacts. Visitors can also enjoy self-paced weaving activities, a family activity centre, and on-demand documentary videos about the women of Laos on the patio. 

The TAEC Museum Shop and TAEC Boutique in town carry a unique selection of handmade textiles and crafts from over 600 rural artisans, mainly ethnic minority women. 50% of every sale goes directly to our artisan partners and their families! TAEC believes in celebrating women and highlighting their achievements (both visible and invisible) every singe day! 

Lao citizens and children under 12 are always free!
