New Year Cultural Activity for Song Nam Pha

All ages are welcome for a fun, hands-on cultural activity rounding out the Lao New Year celebrations.

Join us at TAEC and learn to make your own eco-friendly flower stupa to participate in the Song Nam Pha ceremony at Wat Mai. You will receive instruction, materials, perfumed water (in a recycled bottle), candle, and incense for the special occasion. TAEC staff will also be on hand to explain the meaning of the ceremony and how to take part in this culturally significant event.

This is a free activity included with museum entry ticket. Drop in anytime between 10am – 4pm.
