Tai Lue: Cotton Clouds to Cloth showcases the steps in traditional cotton production for the Tai Lue. 

From the varieties of cotton planted, to the traditional handheld wooden “machines” used to prepare and spin the thread. In this display you can learn every step and object used in this activity which is steeped in tradition. At the same time you can learn about the Tai Lue, an ethnic group from the same family as the Tai Lao, the majority group of Laos.
