Phou Tai Hand-Spun Cotton Shawl

The basic shawl everyone should have in their closet! Made by Phou Tai women in Savannakhet Province in southern Laos, these warm shawls are truly a labour of love. Like so many textiles in Laos, the cotton is harvested, ginned, spun and dyed all by hand before being woven into extraordinary textiles. No machines here! Be sure to pick one up in each colour for yourself, friends, and family.
