Phou Tai Ikat Cotton Scarf

These sophisticated scarves are made by Phou Tai artisans in Savannakhet Province in southern Laos. They are made from hand-spun cotton tie-dyed with indigo (ikat technique). All motifs are hand-designed and use natural dyes. Each scarf and its design pattern is completely unique and represents the individual artists’ style and process. They can be also used as wall hangings, table, or even bed runners!
