Phou Tai Ikat Indigo Border Cotton Shawl

These sophisticated shawls are made by Phou Tai women in Savannakhet Province in southern Laos. They are handspun using handwoven cotton that has been naturally tie-dyed with indigo. Edging on the scarf will be off-white or grey. Each shawl and its design pattern is completely unique and represents the individual artists’ style and process. They can be also used as wall decor, table or bed runners!
