INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING – DHL EXPRESS

All orders are processed within 3 to 4 business days after receiving your order confirmation. You will receive an email notification when your order has been sent to our local DHL office in Luang Prabang.

SHIPPING RATES AND TAXES

Rates are calculated PER PACKAGE, not per product. We offer international shipping wherever DHL operates. Shipping charges for your order will automatically be calculated and displayed at checkout. DHL offers discounted express shipping for packages under 2kgs (4.4lbs). The shipping cost will re-calculate each time you place an item into the cart.

Estimated shipping to most major cities is US$30-$35 per package up to 2kgs. For example, the shipping cost will be the same for three cushion covers or just one scarf. Buy more and take advantage of the weight allowance.

Please note your order may be subject to import duty and tax (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. The Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre is not responsible for these charges.

HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status.

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receving your shipping confirmation, please contact us at shop@taeclaos.org and we will look into it for you.

REFUNDS / RETURNS / EXCHANGES

All sales are final. In the unfortunate event your order arrives damaged, please email us as soon as possible at shop@taeclaos.org with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these issues on a case-by-case basis and we will work towards a satisfactory solution.

The nature of handmade means products may possess slight colour or size differences. Cotton crops and natural dye methods can vary slightly from batch to batch. Artisans may also choose to give their pieces a varied motif. We feel these irregularities and artisan interpretations are the beauty of handmade products therefore no two textiles will never be exactly the same. If you have any questions or concerns before ordering, please contact us shop@taeclaos.org.
