Activities for Kids
TAEC is family-friendly and we welcome kids of all ages. Children are provided with colouring materials or a treasure hunt game which keeps them engaged and learning while viewing the displays. Entry for children under the age of 12 is always free.
Kids can also enjoy the Activity Centre which was created just for them!
This area provides an outlet for hands-on learning for the whole family. The space offers an alternative and fun way to understand and experience cultural diversity and handicrafts. It is comfortably arranged with floor pillows, low tables, and plenty of activities to keep little ones entertained. There are also ethnic costumes available to try on for the perfect souvenir photo!
We have special workshops just for kids! They can learn traditional Hmong Bamboo weaving techniques, making small animals that were traditionally used for ceremonies and to protect the spirits of the clan.
